Recent customer testing using the Llama 3.1 8B language model on the B360 demonstrated the system's ability to convert large volumes of text into comprehensive reports within seconds. Compared to traditional Cloud AI, Getac’s Edge AI solution offers significant operational advantages, including real-time processing, improved data privacy, enhanced offline capabilities, and greater cost efficiency—ideal for industries where these factors are critical.
Rugged Reliability with High-Speed Computing and Flexible Expansion
The B360 and B360 Pro offer extensive I/O options, including up to two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports for ultra-fast data transfers. Featuring Getac’s LifeSupport hot-swappable battery technology, the devices minimize downtime from mid-shift charging and maximize productivity.
Wi-Fi 7 support delivers up to 5x faster transfer speeds than Wi-Fi 6 and reduces latency by up to 60%, enabling smoother connectivity. The B360 Pro comes standard with dual high-capacity batteries and an optional NVIDIA Quadro RTX A500 4GB discrete GPU, boosting both graphics and computing performance. It also includes an expandable media bay for customized upgrades such as a third SSD (up to 6TB total storage), third battery, DVD drive, or Blu-ray drive.
